DRIVING POSITIONS

We have immediate openings for part-time and full-time driving positions!

  • We are seeking a driver to deliver milk to restaurants, institutions, food retailers and coffee shops in Western Mass and some Eastern Mass routes as well (no Boston inner-city). If you have a good driving record, can lift crates of milk and have good public relations skills, please consider joining our team! Applicants do not need a CDL.

    Qualifications Include:

    • the ability to lift crates of milk and use a hand-truck

    • have good public relation and people skills

    • good driving record

    • commercial driving experience preferred, but not required

MILK PLANT POSITIONS

We have immediate openings for part-time and full-time plant positions!

  • We are looking for a part-time Dairy Plant Worker to assist with the milk bottling process. This position will help crate product coming off the line, manage inventory in refrigerated storage, assist with cleaning and sanitation process, and assist customers with orders as needed. This individual must be able to list 50-55 pounds continually throughout the shift. This position starts at 6:00am to 1:00pm 2 to 3 days a week. This is a low-stress and high-energy opportunity.

  • We are looking for a full-time Dairy Plant Worker, to assist with the production, sanitation, and distribution of dairy products. Experience in dairy processing or food manufacturing a plus for this position!! This individual will be part of an early-rising team that pasteurizes raw milk, bottles, manages inventory and helps with the distribution service. All plant workers must adhere to rules and regulations set forth by the state and the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).     Ideal Candidates will have:

    • Experience working at a dairy processing or other food processing plant.

    • Experience working in food preparation, culinary or sanitation.

    • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Job will require being able to lift this and use hand trucks continually throughout the day.

    • Prior truck driving experience, including distributing food/dairy products, preferred.

    • Inventory management and/or order fulfillment experience.

    • Patience, ability to work with a team that takes pride in their work, and friendly personality as this position will also work with customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Candidate will be required to learn how to operate dairy processing equipment from the beginning of processing to the wash and sanitation process.

    • Perform sanitary maintenance functions on dairy processing equipment.

    • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality and safety.

    • Deliver product to customers as needed on non-processing days.

    • Manage inventory of finished product, as well as assist in the management of inventorying supplies and raw materials.

    Work Schedule:

    The dairy processing plant runs 2-3 days a week, depending on the season. On bottling days, this position will start at 4:00 am and end at 12:00. On non-bottling days, the schedule would be 6:00 to 2:00 and can be flexible.

    Compensation:

    Wage is dependent on education and experience directly related to milk processing, as well as the desire to learn. Health insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and retirement matching plan.
