We are looking for a full-time Dairy Processor and Quality Milk Lead, for our dairy plant where we process our rich and high quality Jersey milk. This early-rising managerial position will have two main responsibilities:

1. Safely process raw milk which includes the separation, pasteurization and homogenization and bottling of milk, to running the CIP system and other tasks associated with cleaning and sanitation at the end of the process.

2. Oversee Food Safety which includes a full understanding of SOP, keeping adequate cleaning and sanitizing equipment and supplies on hand and understanding state and federal regulations for food processing in accordance with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Experience working at a dairy processing or other food processing plant.

• Experience working in food preparation, culinary or sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be required to learn how to operate our dairy processing equipment from the beginning of processing to the wash and sanitation process. Training will also be provided.

• Perform sanitary maintenance functions on dairy processing equipment.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure quality and safety.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time 5 days a week position. The dairy processing plant runs an average of 4 days a week. On bottling days, this position will start at 4:00 am and end at 12:00.

Compensation:

Wage is dependent on education and experience directly related to milk and food processing and any food safety certifications, as well as the desire to learn.

We are looking for a part-time Dairy Plant Worker to assist with the milk bottling process. This position will help crate product coming off the line, manage inventory in refrigerated storage, assist with cleaning and sanitation process, and assist customers with orders as needed.  This individual must be able to lift 50-55 pounds continually throughout the shift. This position starts at 6:00am to 1:00pm 3 to 4 days a week. This is a low-stress and high-energy opportunity to be part of a great team.

Experience in dairy or food manufacturing a plus. Willingness to learn is a must and opportunities for formal training and certification is available.
